National Tortilla Chip Day, Sunday, Feb 24, 2019

The triangle-shaped tortilla chip was popularized by Rebecca Webb Carranza in the 1940s as a way to make use of misshapen tortillas rejected from the automated tortilla manufacturing machine that she and her husband used at their Mexican delicatessen and tortilla factory in southwest Los Angeles.

Here at the "Best Mexican Restaurant" (El Vaquero), tortilla chips and salsa are are free per entree or drink serving. So with that saving, it's always a great way to add our famous homemade guacamole, cheese, and dips to the mix! Throw in some of our crafted beer or margarita and you have a party!
